PRESS RELEASE: DECEMBER 1, 1998

Majestic Metals, Inc. Receives EPA Award.

At an awards presentation held in Washington, D.C. on November 18, 1998, and Majestic Metals, Inc. was honored by The Environmental Protection Agency. The award was in recognition of the company’s continuing participation and contributions to the EPA’s Waste Wise Program.

The Waste Wise Program is a national effort to encourage reduction, reuse and recycling of materials which would otherwise be discarded in America’s landfills. Millions of tons of reusable materials are places in landfills each day. The reuse and reduction of such wastes can save millions of dollars by participating companies and individuals. The reduction of pollution and the conservation of scarce resources realize further benefits.

Karl Roberts, Founder and President of Majestic Metals, Inc. states: "It is gratifying to receive an award, which recognizes good environment stewardship; however, it is only good business sense to reduce waste. Waste is actually lost dollars on a firm’s bottom line."
