Majestic
Metals Inc., a precision sheet metal manufacturer of components
for the Computer Electronics, Medical Electronics and other
related industries has installed their second Astro 100 Fully
Automated Forming cell and another Amada 358 VIPROS King equipped
with a 48x120 Cycle Loader. Both pieces of equipment compliment
an existing Astro 100 Automated Forming cell, 358 VIPROS King
and other automated Turret Punches and Forming equipment. The
equipment purchase has increased capacity in order meet the
growing demand by existing customers and new customers alike.
While
equipment purchases have been an integral part of the continued
expansion of capacity at Majestic Metals, the current growth
path and future expansion needs of the company have developed
the requirement for 90,000 Sq. Ft. facility. Activities have
begun at Majestic Metals towards developing a new facility.
The new site has been purchased and the ground is being prepared.
First Level engineering documents are complete with construction
to begin around December 1997 with an expected completion date
of May 1998.
