ISO 9001:2000 REGISTRATION COMPLETED

Majestic Metals has successfully completed requirements for registration to the ISO9001:2000 standard. An intensive two-day registration assessment was performed by Platinum Registration, Inc. auditors at the Denver manufacturing facility December 16 and 17. As a result of the assessment, the company was awarded registration effective January 2, 2003. “Completion of the registration process certainly does not mean we are finished with the program. It is the beginning of a re-newed commitment to maintain a quality management system that can achieve our long time goal of being the most progressive and responsive precision sheet metal manufacturer in the country” stated Chip Roberts, President. Registration to the ISO 9001:2000 standard requires an organization to demonstrate commitment and ability to develop, implement and maintain a quality management system that conforms to each of the standard’s requirements. The latest version of the standard places emphasis on: Understanding customer satisfaction both from a measured and perception standpoint. Involvement of top management by establishing and monitoring measurable objectives. Development of continual improvement opportunities for the quality management system. Hiring, training, review and growth of competent personnel. Use of the process model to understand the inter-relationship between each of the manufacturing processes. Applying preventive measures to quality planning and manufacturing processes. “Employees at all levels should be commended for their cooperation, participation and enthusiasm for the system.
