On January 4, 2010 company management approved a Technology Control Plan that outlines policies and procedures designed to protect customer’s product information.

Some companies and organizations are struggling to beat the November 13, 2010 deadline for certification to the newest version of  ISO9001.   Majestic Metals was the first precision sheet metal manufacturer in Colorado to certify to the new standard.  On March 30th 2009, the company voluntarily re-certified to the then newly released ISO 9001:2008.

Majestic Metals, Inc., was the first company in 1999 to be accepted into the Environmental Leadership Program. Majestic Metals is a small business specializing in the fabrication of precision sheet metal for the computer manufacturing and medical electronic device industry. In addition to being a member of the state’s Environmental Leadership Program, Majestic Metals was awarded the Waste Wise Award by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in 1998 for the reduction, reuse and recycling of material. In 2007, the company received its seventh Gold Award from the Denver Metro Wastewater Reclamation District for meeting quarterly pretreatment flow discharge requirements, for proper disposal of hazardous waste and for its commitment to environmental excellence.

To be eligible for this award the company must demonstrate one hundred percent compliance with Metro Wastewater Reclamation District Pretreatment Requirements.  Which include quarterly sampling and analysis of flow discharge using techniques specified in Title 40, Part 136 of the Code of Federal Regulations (40 CFR 136), proper disposal of hazardous waste, and a commitment to environmental excellence.

Majestic Metals, Inc. has been selected for inclusion in a database of environmental "leadership practices" supported by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

The database, found online at www.GreenBizLeaders.com, includes descriptions of businesses that have voluntarily reduced their environmental impacts through such means as preventing pollution, eliminating waste, and more efficiently using energy, water, and other resources.

Installation, employee training and process capability testing has been completed on the company’s newest laser cutting system according to David Roberts, Vice President for Manufacturing at Majestic Metals.

‘The new laser cutting system is the Amada Gemini FO3015 and represents the next generation of high production lasers” said Roberts.

Majestic Metals is nearing completion of a year long goal of becoming one of the first precision sheetmetal manufacturers along the front range to be awarded ISO9001:2000 registration. The ISO 9000 series of standards are globally recognized guidelines for the design and implementation of Quality Assurance systems in the manufacturing and service industries.
