Majestic Metals

ISO 9001:2015

Some companies and organizations are struggling to beat the November 13, 2010 deadline for certification to the newest version of  ISO9001.   Majestic Metals was the first precision sheet metal manufacturer in Colorado to certify to the new standard.  On March 30th 2009, the company voluntarily re-certified to the then newly released ISO 9001:2015.

The newest version provides clarification to the existing requirements of ISO 9001:2000, and includes changes intended to improve consistency with the environmental standard ISO 14001:2004.

According to industry publications, “All clients that are currently certified to ISO 9001:2000 must have their ISO 9001:2008 audit conducted by August 12, 2010”.  This will allows 90 days for post-audit activities and ISO 9001:2008 certificate issuance by the November 13, 2010 deadline.

Majestic Metals maintains ISO certification through monthly internal audits and annual 3rd party re-assessments. The company’s current certification is valid through January 1, 2011.
