QUALITY COMMITMENT STATEMENT

Majestic Metals has completed a year long goal of becoming one of the first precision sheetmetal manufacturers in Colorado to be awarded ISO 9001:2000 registration. The ISO 9000 series of standards are globally recognized guidelines for the design and implementation of Quality Assurance systems in the manufacturing and service industries. ISO 9001:2000 is the most comprehensive of ISO standards. It is the model for quality assurance in design, development, production, installation and servicing.

How did we actually become registered with ISO 9001:2000? A third party grants certification registration after we demonstrate that we have adequately documented and implemented our quality system. The registrar performs a comprehensive review and audit of our quality system to verify that we have met the requirements of the ISO standards. To maintain registered status, the registrar performs audits annually to assure that we remain compliant with the standard and that our system remains as we defined it.

While Majestic has a long-standing commitment to creating and maintaining an atmosphere for Total Quality Success, our ISO registration effort validates our commitment to continually improve our quality and service, and to meet or exceed our customers' expectations at every level.

ISO 9001:2000 MILESTONES

The project began in January, 2002 with the unanimous decision by management to commit the necessary resources to accomplish registration by the end of the year.

On-going ISO related activities including employee education, supervisory level involvement, setting quality objectives and internal auditing filled the remainder of the calendar year. A final document review and a complete quality system evaluation by senior management was performed in November followed by the registration audit and awarding of certification in December.
